Hi all! Welcome to my virtual life.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Buffalo. I received my PhD in International Relations and Comparative Politics with a cognate in Natural Resources and the Environment from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2001.
I am a Professor Emerita from the Department of Political Science at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I spent the majority of my professional career teaching a variety of courses in International Relations and Peace Studies, conducting research, and writing books and articles.
Although retired, I still have an active research agenda in the atomic/nuclear fields and work as an Authorized Representative to individuals formerly employed by the Department of Energy and its contractors producing nuclear weapons and component parts across the United States. I assist former employees file for compensation from the Department of Labor for illnesses contracted while working in the nuclear weapons complex. I also work on environmental issues both locally in Florida and nationally.
Hopefully you will click on the various pages at the top of the page to learn a bit about me and my research and work.
